Cinco Ramas spice farm is a short one hour and fifteen minute drive from the bustling town of La Fortuna, home of the gorgeous Arenal Volcano and a mere 45 minutes from Caño Negro National Refuge. Our tour offers a leisurely walk on trails that meander through vanilla fields, medicinal and exotic fruit collections, and natural wetlands where you have the opportunity to observe birds, emerald basilisks, tayras, or howler monkeys.

After working up a little sweat, you’ll be treated to local delicacies from the farm like and ice-cold roselle and lemon grass tea, super-sweet pineapple and papaya, or a refreshing chomp of fresh sugar cane. Other seasonal fruits and vegetables grown on the farm will also be available depending on the season.
